Weakness = More powerful Strength in life…

A 10-year-old boy decided to study judo despite the fact that he had
lost his left arm in a car accident. The boy began lessons with an
old Japanese judo master. The boy was doing well, so he couldn't
understand why, after three months of training the master had taught
him only one move. "Sensei," the boy finally said, "Shouldn't I be
learning more moves?"
"This is the only move you know, but this is the only move you'll
ever need to know," the sensei replied. Not quite understanding, but
believing in his teacher, the boy kept training.

Several months later, the sensei took the boy to his first
tournament. Surprising himself, the boy easily won his first two
matches. The third match proved to be more difficult, but after some
time, his opponent became impatient and charged; the boy deftly used
his one move to win the match. Still amazed by his success, the boy
was now in the finals. For a while, the boy appeared to be
overmatched. Concerned that the boy might get hurt,

The referee called a time-out. He was about to stop the match when
the sensei intervened." No," the sensei insisted, "Let him continue."
Soon after the match resumed, his opponent made a critical mistake:
he dropped his guard. Instantly, the boy used his move to pin him.
The boy had won the match and the tournament. He was the champion.

On the way home, the boy and sensei reviewed every move in each and
every match. Then the boy summoned the courage to ask what was really
on his mind. "Sensei, how did I win the tournament with only one
move?"

"You won for two reasons," the sensei answered.
"First, you've almost mastered one of the most difficult throws in
all of judo. And second, the only known defense for that move is for
your opponent to grab your left arm."

The boy's biggest weakness had become his biggest strength.

moral of the story-
Sometimes we feel that we have certain weaknesses and we blame others,
for the circumstances and our self for it, but we never know that our
weakness can become our strength one day. Each of us is special and
important in this world, so never think you have any weakness, never
think of pride or pain, just live your life to its fullest and
extract the best out of it!

THE BUILDER

An elderly carpenter was ready to retire. He told his

employer-contractor of his plans to leave the
house-building business and live a more leisurely life
with his wife enjoying his extended family. He would
miss the paycheck, but he needed to retire. They could
get by.

The contractor was sorry to see his good worker go and
asked if he could build just one more house as a
personal favor. The carpenter said yes, but in time it
was easy to see that his heart was not in his work. He
resorted to shoddy workmanship and used inferior
materials. It was an unfortunate way to end his
career.

When the carpenter finished his work and the builder
came to inspect the house, the contractor handed the
front-door key to the carpenter. "This is your house,"
he said, "my gift to you."

What a shock! What a shame! If he had only known he
was building his own house, he would have done it all
so differently. Now he had to live in the home he had
built none too well.

So it is with us. We build our lives in a distracted
way, reacting rather than acting, willing to put up
less than the best. At important points we do not give
the job our best effort. Then with a shock we look at
the situation we have created and find that we are now
living in the house we have built. If we had realized,
we would have done it differently.

Think of yourself as the carpenter. Think about your
house. Each day you hammer a nail, place a board, or
erect a wall. Build wisely. It is the only life you
will ever build. Even if you live it for only one day
more, that day deserves to be lived graciously and
with dignity. The plaque on the wall says, "Life is a
do-it-yourself project."

Who could say it more clearly? Your life today is the
result of your attitudes and choices in the past. Your
life tomorrow will be the result of your attitudes and
the choices you make today

Feel Good Rules

Bill Gates recently gave a speech at a High School about 11 things they did not and will not learn in school. He talks about how feel-good, politically correct teachings created a generation of kids with no concept of reality and how this concept set them up for failure in the real world.

Rule 1: Life is not fair - get used to it!

Rule 2 : The world won’t care about your self-esteem. The world will expect you to accomplish something BEFORE you feel good about yourself.

Rule 3 : You will NOT make $60,000 a year right out of high school. You won’t be a vice-president with a car phone until you earn both.

Rule 4 : If you think your teacher is tough, wait till you get a boss.

Rule 5 : Flipping burgers is not beneath your dignity. Your Grandparents had a different word for burger flipping: they called it opportunity.

Rule 6: If you mess up, it’s not your parents’ fault, so don’t whine about your mistakes, ‘learn from them’..

Rule 7: Before you were born, your parents weren’t as boring as they are now. They got that way from paying your bills, cleaning your clothes and listening to you talk about how cool you thought you were. So before you save the rain forest from the parasites of your parent’s generation, try delousing the closet in your own room.

Rule 8: Your school may have done away with winners and losers, but life HAS NOT. In some schools, they have abolished failing grades and they’ll give you as MANY TIMES as you want to get the right answer. This doesn’t bear the slightest resemblance to ANYTHING in real life.

Rule 9: Life is not divided into semesters. You don’t get summers off and very few employers are interested in helping you FIND YOURSELF. Do that on your own time.

Rule 10: Television is NOT real life. In real life people actually have to leave the coffee shop and go to jobs.

Rule 11: Be nice to nerds. Chances are you’ll end up working for one.

MOTIVATION

DIFFERENT THINGS MOTIVATE DIFFERENT PEOPLE

Internal motivation comes from within, such as pride, a sense of

Achievement, responsibility and belief.

There was a young boy who used to come for regular practice but always

Played in the reserves and never made it to the soccer eleven. While he

Was practicing, his father used to sit at the far end, waiting for him.

The matches had started and for four days, he didn't show up for

Practice or the quarter or semifinals. All of a sudden he showed up for

the finals, went to the coach and said, "Coach, you have always kept me

in the reserves and never let me play in the finals. But today, please

let me play."

The coach said, "Son, I'm sorry, I can't let you. There are better

players than you and besides, it is the finals, the reputation of the

school is at stake and I cannot take a chance." The boy pleaded, "Coach,

I promise I will not let you down. I beg of you, please let me play."

The coach had never seen the boy plead like this before. He said, "OK,

son, go, play. But remember, I am going against my better judgment and

the reputation of the school is at stake. Don't let me down." The game

started and the boy played like a house on fire. Every time he got the

ball, he Shot a goal. Needless to say, he was the best player and the

star of the game. His team had a spectacular win. When the game

finished, the coach went up to him and said, "Son, how could I have been

so wrong in my life. I have never seen you play like this before. What

happened?

How did you play so well?" The boy replied, "Coach, my father is

watching me today."

The coach turned around and looked at the place where the boy's father

used to sit. There was no one there. He said, "Son, your father used to

sit there when you came for practice, but I don't see anyone there

today." The boy replied, "Coach, there is something I never told you. My

father was blind. Just four days ago, he died. Today is the first day he

is watching me from above."

Internal Motivation

Internal motivation is the inner gratification, not for success or

Winning, but for the Fulfillment that comes from having done it. It is a

Feeling of accomplishment, rather than just achieving a goal.

Smart Entrepreneur

Smart Entrepreneur

"We are not asking corporations to do something different from their normal business; we are asking them to do their normal business differently…"

Kofi Annan, UN Secretary-General, to the World Summit on Sustainable Development in Johannesburg, 2 September 2002

Smart Entrepreneur puts on the notice board the benefits resulting from integrated management of environmental, social and economic issues. It tells employees: "You can't manage what you don't measure." It introduces performance indicators that are easy to measure and evaluate.

If it were easy to become a millionaire there'd be more of them. And while there are no set guidelines on how to be a smart entrepreneur, there are certain characteristic qualities that are required to make a success of your business. You may already have these qualities are probably others you may need to develop. In short, you will need to be able to determine your weaknesses and think up ways to eliminate them by becoming stronger in those areas. If you have entrepreneurial skills then you will recognize a genuine opportunity when you come across one.

Being a Smart Entrepreneur, you want to work smarter and not harder to grow your business quickly. You realize that the best resources for entrepreneurs like you are Who You Know and What You Know.

Who You Know: You cannot succeed in business without the help of other people. You need to constantly leverage on:

* Other People's Money

* Other People's Experience

* Other People's Ideas

* Other People's Time

* Other People's Work

Being smart, you need to constantly build your network to include people who can provide you with the above. It is important to not be selfish while building this network. Do not interact with the short term view of what they can do for you. Keep giving of yourself to them and they will reward you ten times over in return.
What You Know: Knowledge is Power. Your education did not stop when you graduated. You need to adopt a habit of life long learning if you want to stay smart. However, you do not need to know everything; you just need to know what resources for entrepreneurs you can access.
Make a habit of learning something new everyday and you will keep ahead of the competition. Take a look around at your business / friends circle. You will find even more advice and resources for entrepreneurs like you.
I have been Greatly Influenced by This Old Parable:
There was a Saint who had a vision about what it was like in Hell & Heaven.
In Hell he saw a huge table laden with food in the centre. Surrounding the table were starving people who all had very long forks attached to the ends of their arms. They could stab the food, but the forks were too long for them to put the food in their mouths. They were all screaming in frustration as they tried to eat the food that they longed for.
In Heaven, the saint saw the exact same table laden with food & people with the long forks at the ends of their arms. However, here the people were all smiling & enjoying the food. What they were doing was stabbing the food & putting it in EACH Other's mouths!
The moral of the story is that our heaven & hell is right here on earth, how much we want to help others & be helped in return is what makes the difference.

VERY DIFFICULT QUESTION INDEED.

Read this. It is a 100% challenge that u will have a wrong answer
to the question asked in the passage.

Once there was loving couple traveling in a bus in a mountainous
area. They decided to get down at some place. After the couple got
down at some place the bus moved on. As the bus moved on, a huge rock fell on the bus from the mountain and crushed the bus to crumbs. Everybody on board was killed. The couple upon seeing that, said, "We wish we were on that bus" Why do u think they said that?

Scroll down for answer

Come on think again ......

Come on try hard.....

------------ ------- Answer !!!! ------------ -------

If they had remained on the bus instead of deciding to get down, the
resulting time delay could have been avoided and the rock would have
fallen after the bus had passed ..!!! Think positive in life always
and look for opportunities when u can help Others......

Many times in life, the opposite of Success is not Failure, its
Quitting.

Winners never quit, quitters never Win .

Never expect things to happen. struggle and make them happen.

Never expect yourself to be given a good value...create a value of ur
own.

"PARABLE OF THE ROSE"

A certain man planted a rose & watered it faithfully,
& before it blossomed, he examined it. He saw the bud
that would soon blossom also have thorns with it. &
he thought, *How can any beautiful flower come from
a plant burdened with so many sharp thorns?*
He felt very sad by this thought, & he neglected to water
the rose, & before it was ready to bloom, it died……......
So it is with many people. Within every soul there is a rose.
All these qualities planted in us at birth growing
amid the thorns of our faults.
Many of us look at ourselves & see only the thorns,
[the defects].
We despair, thinking that nothing good can possibly
come from us.
We neglect to water the good deeds within us,
& eventually it dies.
We never realize our potential.
Some people do not see the rose within themselves;
someone else must show it to them.
One of the greatest gifts to a person can possess
is to be able to reach past the thorns
& find the rose within others...... ..
This is the characteristic of love,
To look at a person, & knowing his faults,
Recognize the nobility in his soul, & help him
to realize that he can overcome his faults...... .
If we show him the rose, he will conquer the thorns.
Then it will blossom hundred- folds as it is given to him.
‘’ Our duty in this world is to help others by showing them
their roses & not their thorns [the defects]……….’’

"Your attitude will determine your altitude in life."

Did you know that an eagle knows when a storm is approaching long before it breaks?

The eagle will fly to some high spot and wait for the winds to come. When the storm hits, it sets its wings so that the wind will pick it up and lift it above the storm. While the storm rages below, the eagle is soaring above it.

The eagle does not escape the storm. It simply uses the storm to lift it higher. It rises on the winds that bring the storm.

When the storms of life come upon us - and all of us will experience them - we can rise above them by setting our minds and our belief toward God. The storms do not have to overcome us. We can allow God's power to lift us above them.

God enables us to ride the winds of the storm that bring sickness, tragedy, failure and disappointment in our lives. We can soar above the storm.

Remember, it is not the burdens of life that weigh us down, it is how we handle them. Can we convert our Breakdowns into Breakthroughs.

COmmitment to Exellence

Do not measure yourself by what you have accomplished but by what you
should
have accomplished with your abilities.

An efficient businessman who found a machine that would do half his
work ,
bought two.

Doing business without advertising is like winking at a girl in the
dark.You
know what you are doing but nobody else does.

I cannot give you the formula for success, but i can give you the
formula
for failure: Try to please everybody.

Great minds must be ready..not only to take opportunities, but to
make them.

A winner is someone who sets his goals, commits himself to those
goals , and
then pursues his goals with all the ability given to him.

People forget how fast you did a job....but they remember how well
you did
it.

Many of life's failures are men who did not realise how close they
were to
success when they gave up.

so...............Never Never Never ..QUIT.

''Success Breeds Success''

There was a farmer who grew superior quality, award-winning corn in his farm.

Each year, he entered his corn in the state fair where it won honors. & Prizes.

One year a newspaper reporter interviewed him and learned something
interesting about how he grew his corn. The reporter discovered that the
farmer shared his seed corn with his neighbors.

"How can you afford to share your best seed corn with your neighbors
when they are entering corn in competition with yours each year?" The
reporter asked. "Why sir,
'' the farmer replied, "Didn't you know? The wind picks up pollen grains
from the ripening corn and swirls it from field to field. If my neighbors grow inferior, sub-standard & poor quality corn, cross-pollination will steadily
degrade the quality of my corn. If I have to grow good corn, I must help
my neighbors to grow good corns."

The farmer gave a superb insight into the connectedness of life. His
corn cannot improve unless his neighbors' corn also improves. So it is
in the other dimensions and areas of life!

Those who choose to be in harmony must help their neighbors and
colleagues to be at peace. Those who choose to live well must help
others live well. The value of a life is measured by the lives it touches...

Success does not happen in isolation; it is most often a participatory
and collective process. So share the good practices, ideas and new
knowledge with your family, friends, team members and neighbors & all.
As they say: “Success breeds Success."

Lincoln - An honest man!!!

Lincoln was one of the few great men who really was great. Before he became president, Lincoln spent twenty years as an unsuccessful Illinois lawyer -- at least he was unsuccessful in financial terms. But when you measure the good he did, he was very rich indeed. Legends are often untrue, but Lincoln was the real thing. George Washington never chopped down a cherry tree, but Abraham Lincoln was honest. During his years as a lawyer, there were hundreds of documented examples of his honesty and decency.
For example, Lincoln didn't like to charge people much who were as poor as he was. Once a man sent him twenty-five dollars, but Lincoln sent him back ten of it, saying he was being too generous. He was known at times to convince his clients to settle their issue out of court, saving them a lot of money, and earning himself nothing.
An old woman in dire poverty, the widow of a Revolutionary soldier, was charged $200 for getting her $400 pension. Lincoln sued the pension agent and won the case for the old woman. He didn't charge her for his services and, in fact, paid her hotel bill and gave her money to buy a ticket home!
He and his associate once prevented a con man from gaining possession of a tract of land owned by a mentally ill girl. The case took fifteen minutes. Lincoln 's associate came to divide up their fee, but Lincoln reprimanded him. His associate argued that the girl's brother had agreed on the fee ahead of time, and he was completely satisfied. "That may be," said Lincoln, "but I am not satisfied. That money comes out of the pocket of a poor, demented girl; and I would rather starve than swindle her in this manner. You return half the money at least, or I'll not take a cent of it as my share."
Honesty makes you feel good about yourself and creates trust in others. It improves your relationship with yourself and with others. It's not much in fashion these days to talk about the benefits of honesty and decency, but the benefits are there and they are valuable and worth the trouble.
Lincoln didn't talk much about religion, even with his best friends, and he didn't belong to any church. But he once confided to a friend that his religious code was the same as an old man he knew in Indiana , who said,
"When I do good, I feel good, and when I do bad, I feel bad, and that's my religion."
Honesty. It may be corny, but it's the finest force for good in the world, and it always will be.
Do some honest good in the world.

DON'T WE ALL

I was parked in front of the mall wiping off my car. I had just come from the car wash and was waiting for my friend to get out of work.
Coming my way from across the parking lot was what society would consider a bum.
From the looks of him, he had no car, no home, no clean clothes, and no money. There are times when you feel generous but there are other times that you just don't want to be bothered. This was one of those "don't want to be bothered times."
"I hope he doesn't ask me for any money," I thought.
He didn't.
He came and sat on the curb in front of the bus stop but he didn't look like he could have enough money to even ride the bus.
After a few minutes he spoke.
"That's a very pretty car," he said.
He was ragged but he had an air of dignity around him. His scraggly beard kept more than his face warm.
I said, "thanks," and continued wiping off my car.

He sat there quietly as I worked. The expected plea for money never came.
As the silence
between us widened something inside said, "ask him if he needs any help." I was sure that he would say "yes" but I held true to the inner voice.
"Do you need any help?" I asked.
He answered in three simple but profound words that I shall never forget.
We often look for wisdom in great men and women. We expect it from those of higher learning and accomplishments.
I expected nothing but an outstretched grimy hand. He spoke the three words that shook me.
"Don't we all?" he said.
I was feeling high and mighty, successful and important, above a bum in the street, until those three words hit me like a twelve gauge shotgun.
Don't we all?
I needed help. Maybe not for bus fare or a place to sleep, but I needed help. I reached in my purse and gave him not only enough for bus fare, but enough to get a warm meal and shelter for the day. Those three little words still ring true. No matter how much you have, no matter how much you have accomplished, you need help too. No matter how little you
have, no matter how loaded you are with problems, even without money or a place to sleep, you can give help.
Even if it's just a compliment, you can give that.
You never know when you may see someone that appears to have it all.
They are waiting on you to give them what they don't have. A different perspective on life, a glimpse at something beautiful, a respite from daily chaos, that only you through a torn world can see.
Maybe the man was just a homeless stranger wandering the streets. Maybe he was more than that.
Maybe he was sent by a power that is great and wise,
Maybe God looked down, called an Angel, dressed him like a bum, then said, "go to that lady cleaning the car, that lady needs help."
Don't we all?

Learn from Mistakes

Thomas Edison tried two thousand different materials in search of a filament for the light bulb. When none worked satisfactorily, his assistant complained, "All our work is in vain. We have learned nothing."

Edison replied very confidently, "Oh, we have come a long way and we have learned a lot. We now that there are two thousand elements which we cannot use to make a good light bulb."

Gold Inside Us

Long times ago, in Egypt lived a famous mystical person name Zun-Nun. A young man came to visit him and asked "Teacher, I do not understand why people like you dress in such a simple way, Isn't it necessary to dress neatly, not only for performance but also for other
reasons?

The mystical only smiled and took his ring from one of his fingers, and said "Young friend, I will answer your question, but first do one thing for me, take this ring and go to the market across this street, can you sell this for one chip of gold?

Having looked at Zun-Nun's dull ring, the young man became doubtful. "One chip of gold, I am not sure this ring could be sold at that price."

"Try first, young man, who knows you did it." The Young man went to the market quickly. He offered the ring to the textile, vegetable, meat, fish traders, and the others. The fact was that no body was willing to pay for a chip of Gold. He went back to Zun-Nun residence and reported "Teacher, no body was brave to offer more than one chip of silver."

With a wise smile Zun-Nun said, "Now go to the Gold Shop at the back of this street. Show this to the owner or to the gold trader. Don't give your price just listen how much he will pay for this ring."

The Young man went to the shop mentioned and returned with a different expression from his face. He then reported "Teacher, the traders in the market really do not know the value of this ring, the gold trader offer this ring for one thousand of gold, And the value of this ring was one thousands times from what the traders in the market offer.

Zun-Nun just smiled subtly and spoke softly, "That was the answer of your questions my friend, "Someone cannot be valued only from his dress . 'The traders in the market' gave value like that. But not r "The gold traders"

The gold and Diamond inside someone only could be seen and valued if you could look at the inner soul. It needs a heart to see, and it needs a process. We cannot see it from the words or attitude that only seen for a while. Many time what we think as gold, may only be brass, but a brass maybe gold.

Importants of Effort in ur Life.

This is the story of the giant ship engine that failed? The ship's
owners tried one expert after another, but none of them could figure
but how to fix the engine.

Then they brought in an old man who had been fixing ships since he
was a youngster. He carried a large bag of tools with him, and when
he arrived, he immediately went to work. He inspected the engine very
carefully, from top to bottom.

Two of the ship's owners were there, watching this man, hoping he
would know what to do. After looking things over, the old man
searched into his bag and pulled out a small hammer. He gently tapped
something. & instantly, the engine lurched into life & got started.

He carefully put his hammer away. The engine was fixed! A week later,
the owners received a bill from the old man for ten thousand Rs.

"What?!" the owners exclaimed. "He hardly did anything!"
So they wrote the old man a note saying "Please send us an
Itemized bill."
The man sent a bill that read:

Tapping with a hammer ..Rs 2.00
Knowing where to .......Rs 9998.00

Total Rs Ten Thousand Only 10,000/-

Moral of The Story:
Effort is important, but knowing where to make an effort in your life,
`Makes all the difference'' .

How to make Decisions.

A group of children were playing near two railway tracks,
One still in use while the other disused.Only one child played
on the disused track,& the rest on the used track.

The train is coming, & you are just beside the track interchange.
You can make the train change its course to the disused track
& save most of the kids. However, that would also mean the one
Child playing by the disused track would be sacrificed.

Let's take a pause to think what kind of decision we could make......
Most people might choose to divert the course of the train, &
sacrifice only one child. I guess. Exactly, I thought the same way
initially, because to save most of the children at the expense of
only one child was rational decision most people would make, morallyy
& emotionally.

But, have you ever thought that the child choosing to play on the
disused track had in fact made the right decision to play at a safe
place? Nevertheless, he had to be sacrificed because of his ignorant
friends who chose to play where the danger was.

This kind of dilemma happens around us everyday. In the office,
community, in politics and especially in a democratic society, the
minority is often been sacrificed for the interest of the majority,
no matter how foolish or ignorant the majority are, and how far
sighted and knowledgeable the minority are. The child who choses
not to play with the rest on the operational track was sacrificed; no
& no one would shed a tear for him.

The course of the train should not be changed because we believed
that the kids playing on the operational track should have known
very well that track was still in use, & that they should have run
away if they heard the train's sirens.

If the train was diverted, that lone child would definitely die
because he never thought the train could come over to that track!.
That track was not in use probably because it was not safe. If the
train was diverted to the track, it could put the lives of all
passengers on board at stake! And in your attempt to save a few
kids by sacrificing one child,U might end up sacrificing hundreds
of people to save these few kids.

We are all aware of that,''life is full of tough decisions that
need to be made; we may not realize that hasty decisions may not
be always the right one.

"Remember that what's right isn't always popular………….
& what's popular isn't always right…………."
